Sunny days call for sunny potholders!
This August we'll be knitting the cheerful
Sunburst Potholder, a beautiful project filled with clever construction and techniques you'll use again and again. Because this project introduces several new skills and requires a little more knitting time than our regular Monday Mastery projects,
this month's class will meet over two sessions. Hence
, everyone has time to learn, practice, and finish with confidence.
In this class, you'll learn:
- Provisional cast-on
- Working two-color stripes
- Short rows
- Creative construction
- Three-needle bind-off
- A little color theory
You'll leave with a beautiful handmade potholder that's as enjoyable to knit as it is to use. The bonus....this makes a thoughtful hostess, housewarming, or holiday gift.
