Fiber, prep, twist, and ply each play an integral role in the quality of a yarn and in the characteristics of your final product. This class will help everyone from beginner knitters to experienced colorwork cable gurus better understand how yarn is made and how that impacts the way the yarn knits.
Materials:
Samples of eight yarns will be provided. Bring a few sizes of needles from US 3-8 if you would like to swatch along in class.
Homework:
Have a specific question about why that yarn acts that way? Email [email protected] no later than four days before class and our yarn sleuths will make sure to address it in the class.
