To give Cheeky Merino Joy its pleasant lightness and fine structure, extra fine 19.5 micron merino wool is used – from certified organic animal husbandry (kbT). This wool is especially skin-friendly and is produced without mulesing, chemical treatments, or long animal transport. Cheeky Merino Joy is spun so the yarn glides smoothly, doesn’t split, and pills minimally. Gentle hank dyeing preserves its elasticity and softness – ideal for delicate stitch work. It is made in a small Portuguese mill using traditional machines and a lot of handcraft.
SPORT
The first GOTS-certified organic Merino hand-knitting yarn that is also machine washable. Machine wash cool, delicate cycle, dry flat. We recommend Eucalan wool wash.
