This versatile frock is inspired by a simple, flattering yoke and a desire for an easy-to-wear uniform piece with roomy pockets. By using a beautiful aran weight yarn it makes a great cool weather pop-over. What a treat to learn Nell’s unique techniques directly from her using her clever design!
Class 1: gauge, fit, cast-on technique, increase style, short rows, measuring yoke depth
Class 2: sleeve separation, pocket placement, types of cast-on for pocket top, total length
Class 3: sleeve pick up, decreases, underarm finishing, pocket liners, pocket attachment
We suggest: 750 to 1150 yards of the following aran/chunky weight yarns:
Queensland Katmandu (in store only)
Illimani Amelie (in store only)
Needles: US 10 (6mm) 32" circular needles or to gauge needle and needles 1 size smaller for ribbing
